'Bones' on FOX

News just in for lovers of this tension charged drama – ‘Bones’ is rumored to be green-lighted for yet another season. Booth and Brennan continue to charge up the screen with their unique approach to murder and mayhem – and with their attraction to each other.

Based on the best selling book series by Kathy Reichs, ‘Bones’ documents the adventures of forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (played by Emily Deschanel – Glory Road, ) and her steamy FBI partner Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz – Angel).

Formerly pretty boy heartthrob as lead in the Buffy spin-off Angel, Boreanaz plays Booth as a fumbling, brash cop who actually has hidden depths. Emily comes across brilliantly as the female version of Mr Spock. The two make quite a team, studying corpses and fighting crime. A stellar cast represents the rest of the forensic team operating out of the Jeffersonian.

The past few seasons have seen Bones’ matter-of-fact facade crack a few times (a faked death and funeral for Boothe rocked her foundation a little);  with the help of psychologist whiz kid Dr. Lance Sweets (played by a baby-faced John Francis Daley) Tempe is starting to open up just a little, though acting like a normal human being still seems a bit down the road. Meanwhile Booth struggles with being a single dad, and Sweets has demons of his own.

Will Booth’s unrequited attraction for Brennan finally get out in the open? Will we learn more about Sweets and his fascination with the crime fighting duo? Only watching the show will answer that question, so check out Bones and watch episodes free online at Fox.com.

Very well done Grace.
The other day you tickled my curiosity with your review of ‘Saving Grace’ (which I started watching based on your description of the show), now you bring ‘Bones’ to my attention.
Is this your way of saying I should spend less time in front of a computer and more in front of a TV?
I look forward to your next review, whatever it may be.
