If you want to knock out the sugar habit or you’re growing tired of those pastel substitution packets, try Stevia! This South American herb provides a surprisingly sweet taste to your foods and beverages. If you’ve been struggling with giving up the sweet things in life, you may be in luck.

The health benefits are amazing. Who would’ve thought that something so sweet could be good for you? Not only is Stevia calorie and carb free (unlike artificial sweeteners), it has no impact on blood glucose levels. Some Stevia products even include an added dose of fiber! As a natural alternative, Stevia offers a sweet as sugar experience without the side effects.

Admittedly, the price looks a little off putting at first glance. Don’t worry - Stevia’s looks are deceiving. When you’d use a heaping spoon of sugar in your tea or coffee, you only use a pinch of Stevia. That’s right – a pinch! A little goes a long way, so you’ll get all of the benefits without much extra cost.

This herb was previously classified a dietary supplement and up until recently was not approved by the Food and Drug Administration. But times are changing! The Wall Street Journal reports approval from the FDA, and rumor has it that our beloved soda makers have caught this new wave. Soon you can sip your favorite flavor guilt free.

This great product is available in all forms: convenient packets, dissolving tabs, shakers and liquid droppers.
